Well I had to pull my Fiero out of my garage to make room for my Trep for the winter.

The forum is dead because we lack controversy. Without conflict there can be no excitement. Without excitement people don’t feel like involving themselves.
So….let me pick a fight…I think the brakes on the Fiero are dangerous.
I think the general feeling about Fiero’s is that they are a cheep sports car…personally I don’t see how they qualify as a sports car until you fix what GM missed when they were trying to fatten there wallets.
I think that if the feeling towards the car is going to be that “it’s the cheapest way to have the Italian look” or that “It’s the cheapest way to go fast” then we are attracting the wrong people for the wrong reasons.
I think that the Fiero is an almost dynamite NORTH AMERICAN car that had lots of potential but never really reached it from the factory.
So what do you want from your Fiero? To own a classic, or to drive a dream?
I vote to fix what GM f***ed up.

GM's biggest screw-up occurred when they decided to kill the model line. A number of people have since tried to fix that, but were unsuccessful.

What do you mean still? I just started to play with fire trucks. I guess I’m a late bloomer.

Well she must've stolen the wrong pieces, 'cause now her car doesn't want to play when it's wet out.

Not bad, Eric. You're on your hands and knees, and begging. I see you've adapted to married life rather well.

hmmm.... I don't think the forum is so much dead as everyone is trying to put they're babies to bed before the roads get salted.... yuk..... mine however doesn't get to sleep this year.... she's going to be driven in the snow as well. I figure she'll be off the road long enough when I start customizing her
When I'm done she'll be a lovely little monster fiero
What sort of mods have other people here done to they're cars?

Just brouse around in the Mods section and you'll get a good idea, go way back so that you don't miss anything.
We've got a lot of mods (many still in progress here in Ottawa).

What are some of the odd things people have done to they're fiero's? Or odd modifications that you've seen others do?
What mods have you done to your car that you think has improved on the original fieros?
I'm just trying to get some conversation going here

Personally for me, all the mods I'm doing or going to do are for the express purpose of improving on what GM did. I don't have much of an interest in aesthetics, so how it looks when I'm done is how it's going to look, that's not really my concern.
I will admit though, that I may do a Firebird dash and door conversion. That you can say is only partly a functionality mod, because it's mostly aesthetics. But most definitely an improvement
