Ok.. I've talked things over with my bro and I have all the rules now. Car has to appear stock. *sigh*

we don't have apit crew yet. Sad  Not sure if we need or alowed to have one tho. It's not like nascar. We won't be changing tires ect..

Can someone make me a picture of a basic 6 point cage?

Here is what we need. (shopping list) if anyone could help, it would be VERY appreciated!

Here is the list:

-Engine: 3.4L Long block (I think i will nead the heads... if not, anyone ahve 2.8L heads? )

- 2 sets of grand am front brakes. (callipers and rotors)

- Clutch kit for 85-86 Fiero GT or 85-89 Cavalier Z24

- Good Shock that will fit 85 Fiero GT

- Racing Seat (real one, not a show seat) and harness

- Fire Extinguisher

- Fiero 85-86GT Master and slave clutch cyl.

- Extreemly GOOD (can't stress this enough) street tires with NO R COMPUND 14-15" max 225 with, must be 60 series or lower. (Obviously I'm not concerned about the speedometer.

- Fire suits and full face helmet.

So if you have any of theise parts or can get me a deal, PLEASE let me know!

Enduro is on PAVEMENT and is at the Autodrome.

Don't know if this will help but I'll bet Gary will volunteer for pit crew as long as you let him bring his grinder.

You know how much you can get away with?  If the rules actually say "car must appear stock" then you can do a shitload of stuff to it to make it faster as long as it "appears stock"

So yea 3.4, fully built engine and heads, exhaust work,  Pulley, can pull a lot of power around.

Or doa 3.4 dohc swap but just make sure it looks stock.

Exactly what i was thinking. *lol*  but the DOHC will NOT look stock. if that were the case, I'd be shopping for another 3800sc. Tongue

Anyone have the list of what is needed to use the 3.4 block? do i use the Fiero heads? what will that put my compression at?

What about lowering?? Choping stock sprins is still considered stock?

Anyone ever race enduro here? what checks do they do on the car?

Thanks!

Make sure you call the track and make sure the Fiero is legal to run. I was looking into doing this, but found that 2 seater cars we not allowed in the Brighton Race.

Later;
