After holding up the loom, etc, there are a few wires to adjust in length.  I think that there will only be a bit of extra length if I mount the ecm low behind the passenger seat.  This means that by enlarging the hole in the f/w, I can use the Bonneville grommet and keep that big square connector.  In other words, I ain't cutting all the wires.  Roll Eyes

On a more somber note, I found a hole in my block (or intake) that I can't account for.  I'll post a pic later.  It's round, so I'll assume it's either an inspection port or a frost plug hole.

Would have to see the hole to be sure but if its round look for threads inside or a ring that would seat an o ring of some kind. If you want to wire that way then we will make the firewall hole large enough and bury the other connector inside the console. That way you have an easy way of removing the harness with the engine for future mods when you get tired of a mere 205hp. The same should work for purple when he gets tired of 206hp. I suggest we pick a nice warm weekend and finish off your beast. Get the exhaust figured out and we can finally instal the whole thing at once.
Next time I will bring my van that way I can also bring along lots of tools and such.

Here's the hole.  It was tucked in under the egr and crossover pipe.  I can't remember if there's a big vacuum line around there or not.  Also don't recall if that part is open to the clutch/flywheel area.  The hole is smooth all the way through.

You don't remember Brian practising with the drill do you?  Grin

May I sugest a small text document with various series 1 slurs in it.  That way you can cut and paste rather than type them each post.  Lips Sealed
