possible cooling fan replacement option

now that I have found out that my fan doesn't work; I stumbled across something that look interesting; a double fan setup (stock) out of a Ford Focus. Complete with frame/shroud.  It appears that one is for main cooling and the other is an aux for a/c time......
I will post pix when i get a chance, but it will fit with some sort of bracketry so that is a big plus.  Our frames are not that wide at the rad......
In case someone else is in that boat.  The OEM mfrs tend to make pretty good quality stuff; more and more I am realizing HOW good the quality is when you hear of aftermarket (ignitions, headers, other parts) wearing out/failing/causing trouble of some sort after a yr or less and the original equipt lasts for 15+....!!!!
just for info if anyone is interested.  I like the idea of double fans.  Wouldnt take a whole lot to put a second, higher temp sensor on the 2nd fan to start it if the engine temp climbs past a certain point......

Would like to see if it is not too much trouble to install. I get that feeling that the 3.8 is going to be put through her passes? and will overheat.

Sounds like a nice setup.  Just put the second on a straight manual switch.

Brian, if you're worried about heat, you better ditch that plastic engine cover.

I found the 90's luminas had a dual fan set up which the fans can be used in our cars by swapping the shrouds. They are a heavier pitched blade so should push more air. I wire the fan so it comes on with the ignition. For a second fan would reccomend wiring off the coolant sensor on the engine to turn it on. A good fan to use would be one of the pusher fans the 84 up Corvettes use. It mounts in front of the rad making it easier to fit on our cars.
