I know I've uttered my share of bad words when working on one vehicle or another, but I don't recall ever telling my Fiero to "get bent."   No wonder the alignment shop couldn't do anything with the RF wheel last year.   Roll Eyes

How did you do that?

I wish I knew for certain, but I suspect that it's a product of other worn components, and a once improperly mounted upper ball joint which would "jump" from one end of its camber adjustment slots to the other if given a hard bump.

I don't know for sure but that sure looks like driver abuse to me. Being accused of it wrongly I have learned what to look for in that case.

 Undecided

Driver abuse is certainly another possibility; I simply didn't mention it in an out-of-character attempt to be brief.  I've had problems getting the RF wheel aligned properly ever since I purchased the car.  P'raps now I'll finally get this daemon exorcised!

Given some of the other things I found when I put it on the road, more that I've found since, and conversations with the previous owner, I'm suspicious that the guy asked a lot from the car, but gave very little back to it in return.

It's neither the '84 nor the '86, actually.  My baby is an '85.   Tongue Grin

Sorry, I should have specified which car, especially after voicing my opinion of the previous owner.  The car in question is not formerly Chris S's 84.
