It seems that you are not allowed to download or view attachments on this board.

I haven't had a problem before.  I just right click and save as.

A few things have been changed since yesterday but regardless some things are  protected and some things are not.

You can always do a print screen and edit in paint.

I would but there is no pic on the screen for me to print screen, there is only a link at the bottom of the post.

Not a big deal .... I'll just wait to see if the authorization stuff gets sorted out over the next few days.....

That's acctually a new problem with the forum.  For some reason many of the photo's posted are not sowing up at all.  Even in posts where they used to show up in but now don't.  I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

That means if there is anyone on dial-up that wanted to read something with a lot of photos posted but wasn't able to before.  Now would be a good time for that, but be quick about it.

This has nothing to do with the recent upgrade, but how 'bout a feature request?

When replying to a (public) message via PM, having the subject line & a quote of the message ready & waiting in the "post reply" page would be nice.  Smiley

But that already happens when you reply to a PM

Roll Eyes  no no no no no

Not when replying to a PM with a PM.  I already know how that works.

I was talking about what happens when using a PM to reply to PUBLIC message (like this one).  Hit the PM button under my user id, beside this message--you'll see what I mean.  One ends up with a standard/blank form.  What I wouldn't mind seeing instead is the reply form pre-populated with a quote of this message, as well as the subject line.

Just copy the message and use the quote button...hey...where did that go?  I guess it's on a different board.  Okay I know what you are talking about.  But you can still quote, so I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about.

I know what he means, but.. in order to do that, there would have to be extensive recoding of code that wasn't coded by the admins.. It would take too much effort to try to do that for you.  So, instead.. just copy and paste the message you want.

the PM button is a Generic button that will just bring you to the PM page so you can PM the person you want to.. in order to enable it to do what you want, you would have to recode the forum so that the PM button is no longer a Generic button, but one that will load the message contents into it.. to do this.. would be.. CRAZYNESS! :S
