Any of you guys working on one?

While looking at fiberglass tutorials, I found some wacko's busily making there cars into computer rooms.  GPS, MP3, DVD's and games.  These guys have way too much time and money on their hands.

Found a nice in-car player program.  I assume for touch screen use.

Fancy audio I can understand, but these nutbars who install DVD players for reasons other than distracting the animals in the back seat blow me away.

Where I come from, you watch videos & play video games at home.  When you're behind the wheel, you should be focused on your driving, not on Britney Spears' latest mostly-invisible outfit on that screen beside you.   Roll Eyes Shocked

My friend is working on one (or will be) for me, but it will only be compatible with my car.

I'd like to get a laptop mounted as well for music and effects purposes just a little worried about theft.

These guys just seem to use regular stuff in a cut down case.  They do seem to be more computer nerdy (no offence to our nerds) than car savvy.

One guy wanted to cut big holes in his car to let cooling air in.  When pointed out that water, dirt and other crap would also arrive he seemed pretty surprised.  Grin
