A few months ago I noticed a Fiero sitting in a local body shop’s driveway. Since I needed parts for my car, and that one didn’t move for months, I decided to stop over and ask what they where doing with it. Was told one of their employee was going to rebuild it…

Got a phone call last week and the Fiero owner NEEDS to get rid of it because the body shop’s owner wants it out of his driveway a.s.a.p.

Description:
Gold (with black lower accent) 86SE
Beige interior
V6 with 4 Speed
No spoiler
Gold OEM rims
Mileage
Owner said car runs ok but needs new brakes
Outside: trunk, roof and hood faded and heavily scratched
Inside: Driver seat torn to shred, passenger seat
Location: Wendover (40 minutes East of Ottawa)

Owner will not disclose asking price, he wants an offer. Anyone interested can contact me.


Received a few PMs concerning this car, so here is additionnal info:

Mileage - 210,000Km
Rear bumper has evident scratches (was probably rear ended)
Passenger side aerodynamic skirt dammaged
Both sails are cracked
Both brake light lenses are cracked
Tail Pipe severed at Muffler (by rust)
Rear brake cable severed and draging to the ground

Removed a 1/16th inch thick scale of rust on the rear frame but did not see any holes.

Did anyone get a approx. price on what this guy wanted for it? If it was cheap I would consider it.

He will not disclose price. I tried to force him to give me a figure but he always come back with "make me an offer"....

I'm not even sure I would have offered that much as a first bid:
1 - 210,000Km
2 - He needs it out of the driveway a.s.a.p
3 - General condition of rest of the car

But there again... those are the exact reasons I have not purchassed the little bugger in the first place

Sounds like it will need a considerable amount of pampering.

No doubt the owner thinks it is valuable, but start low and go from there.  If he takes offence, walk away rather than pick up a money pit.

Owner sais it runs and only needs new brakes. He did not start it for me so I really can't tell. I would doubt very much that new brakes is the only thing required to pass safety check but there again, I have been proven wrong once or twice before
