Most of you know that I am tring to work with Spec Clutches tring to get a flywheel made to fit on the Northstar and I have 5 to 6 others wanting in on getting one made. However it seems that Spec is giving me the run around! I have been talking with Centerforce and Ram Clutches and they seem they can get the job done and they say they can build a better set up?
Any input?

see if they'll put
some
thing in writing. That usually is a good start to getting a real commitment.
Cause then you can go back at them with their own statement. Getting a promise or a date or anything is a good thing to get from someone.
Plus, Centreforce and Ram are known names, I don't know of anyone using a spec clutch personally. Maybe they will back up their name with effort!?!?!?!
let us know how you make out!

Do a search on PFF. There are a few threads on clutches. It is a personal thing, but there are an awful lot of anti-centerforce posts.
The one that's made for archie (CF?) seems to work okay.
SPEC has a good rep with the 3800 s/c bunch.
