I paid $4200 for my 88 GT.  The body was in good shape but not rust free.

I had a rust free 86 linde up for something like $2600 but sprung the extra $1600 for the 88 that poped up at the last minut.  I think it was well worth it.  The car feels very good on the road at it's limits.  Although I think $2500 is a much more reasonable amount for a rust free 88, the availability of them doesn't let you dictate the price.

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision.  But to have vision alone leaves the process idle.  Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.

That is a little rich for my blood..  I can get an 86 92000km... not a spec of rust oil sprayed every year and never drove in winter for $1000.00 but it is a 4Cyl

that is not a bad price. but it is not a last year model  car. it is not a southern car and it is not this clean. but you pay for what you get i am sure this 88 will go it sure is nice

I am sure it will but I can't see paying 6K for a car to turn it into a kit... I wouldn't want to carve up a collector item..  either..

I paid $1750 for my 88 but it was FAR from rust free (although it was claimed to be by the seller)

Is that a special price for you since you know the person or is that just what he/she is asking?  Where abouts is the car?
Anything wrong with it?
