No. I haven't gotten in touch with him. I am such a procrastinator. After talking to a few people I came to wonder about the shape of the car as it has been sitting for a while with no windshield. I need to get this hulk out of my driveway before I bring anything else home as well. Kevin

After talking to a few people I came to wonder about the shape of the car as it has been sitting for a while with no windshield.

Hmmm, hard to say.

The parts car that's providing Kitten's new drivetrain sat outdoors with a partial windshield for quite some time...  at least a year I think, but possibly more.

Interior electronics were all still good.  In fact the only bad parts were the drain plugs in the floor, and the seats.  The sliders on the seats had rust-welded to each other, and when I took one of the seats apart I found that the metal frame which sits inside the foam was disintegrating; I'm guessing simply due to having moisture trapped against it for a long time.

Didn't mean to kick you off your procrastinating butt BTW...  I'm just nosy.   Grin

Update: I just got an e-mail from him and he had another look at it and it wasn't pretty he found rust and lots of it, the floor pans and frame are gone so no luck there. Oh well. Kevin
