Slow Times!

It is often fun to come here and find some stimulating conversation, but as of late it’s hard to find any sort of conversation here at all.
I’m sure that it’s just one of those things that happens from time to time. But it can be annoying when one tries to take a brake from work and finds out that there in nothing else to do other than work. I find this rather annoying at times. Everyone likes to procrastinate.
So here’s to me doing my part even though I really shouldn’t, because I’m supposed to be working right now. Not that this is stimulating conversation but it is something other than work.

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision. But to have vision alone leaves the process idle. Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.

Yes, I pass through fairly often and see that all sorts of folks have logged in on their way through. Take the time guys (and gals) to jot something down. Doesn't have to be earth shattering. How was your day? Kids? grandkids? dogs?
I hope to be doing my own paint job (spring...year TBA) so if anyone has a story, tip, book, website, etc feel free.
I feel that if I only have a pile of bits, I shouldn't be out hobnobbing with real Fiero drivers. This forum is my eye to the local Fiero world.

I will note that even with the relative quiet period, our forum is still more active than most.

I painted my Fiero for the first time over the summer... this was the best collection of advice I found anywhere.

Yeah, I'm one of those lurkers that occasionally browse through without posting. You guys seem to have a great group, and once I get my next Fiero I'll probably be living closer to Ottawa. So yeah.

Does this mean I should go find some more weird news articles to post then?

If all else fails do what I do. PICK ON GARY. Works for me. Took the Bonneville SSEi out for a drive yesterday not quite as fast as the Fiero but not too bad either. I guess cam, head work and a 3.4 inch pulley on a healthy 3800SC will make even a big car move pretty good. Now time to start thinking about building up a really strong 3800SC to put back in the Fiero. Dan

Slow times might mean people are working on their projects?
Now that the COLD weather is here, I finally have some TIME!!!
I am actually making progress on mine; the rear is figured out, prototypes tested and discarded in sequence till I finally found the one I am happy with. So the right rear is
done
; has to be mirror imaged to the Left side but that process is underway.
Getting longer front control arms made up as this is being typed. Got all my wheels and tires. Got all my shocks and springs; all my brake parts; new ball joints and bearings; just figured out my wheel studs (had to go to Moroso Mustang race studs). The car MIGHT even be rolling on 4 wheels before this year is out. For me, that is progress!!!!!
(hey. You asked. LOL ; ) )
Talking now to guys about engine issues and mods, wiring and swap issues to follow.
Bought a little tank-top propane (radiant type) heater at Princess; it is TOO small so I am going to get the bigger Contractor sized one (30,000 Btu++) that is fan-forced. Gonna get some work done this winter!!!
'bout time, too.........
