Any lurkers here who are either wrenches or counter-techs for Honda, or are on chatty terms with one?

I'm trying to get some info about a characteristic of our CR-V while circumventing the inevitable "make an appointment and we'll check it out" speech.

What's the problem.  I've owned three Honda's, but I know that does't count.

I did some research over my lunch break, and apparently the problem is an owner who has been failing to replace the fluid in the rear differential at the required intervals.  Roll Eyes

I'll post again with more details if it turns out that there's more to it than that.
