What do you get when you cross a spare fiero seat, the base from a busted office chair, and a force-feedback steering wheel & pedals?

I've wanted to do this for a while now, and finally had the time to do so this weekend.  I'm trying to teach myself how to weld, but I can't bring myself to mindlessly weld scraps of metal together for practice.  I need some sort of project, and this was my 2nd attempt.  It works much better than that stupid lap bar that comes with the wheel, not to mention a lot more comfortable.  Grin

Well, I found myself with 'too much free time' again last weekend, and I wasn't too happy with my original design.  The uprights for the steering wheel were too close to the seat, making entry and exit a tad difficult.  I still had some leftover tubing, so I cut the uprights off and relocated them.

I also replaced the chair base.  As I posted above, I had scavenged it from a busted chair from work.  Well, the chair base was the reason it was in the 'scrap pile'.  I acquired a second busted chair after making sure that the base itself was in good condition.  Take a look at Racing Chair 1.2   Grin

So what do you do when the chair starts to pivot in the middle of a game from all the movement?

I thought that it would be a problem, but the chair does not swivel during play, even during spirited driving.
