Checking on glue prices.
NAPA has 3M Super Trim Adhesive 8090 in a 18 oz can for $25.99 + tax. (ouch) I know 3M FoamFast 74 spray works and Weldwood (DAP) Original Formula contact cement works but have been unable to find it. Have checked Cdn Tire, Home Depot, Home Hardware. Has anyone purchased some at a reasonale price? (in the states at Home Depot it is $5USD a quart) I have fax's Toronto to find the distributor for Weldwood products in Ottawa

After reading of the horror tales on Pennocks of people using "any type of cement" http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/042788.html I want to use only that that has worked for others before.

It sound to me like the problem was some 3M super 77 glue.  I'm not familiar with that glue, but I do know that it isn’t a contact cement.

One note about contact cement, you have to know how to apply it and use in to get good results, but you don't have to worry about it coming loose.
