I need an early pass side headlight motor,can have a bad gear as I have a rebuild kit but need a motor.

  Where are you located?, there is a silver Fiero in my neck of the woods with a stuck up headlight. I have some motors I took out of the landmark I have in my driveway if you are close. All I have to do is find them.

Anyone? someone must have a dead motor they want to get rid of,also I'm on the west coast so it would have to be mailed.

At Canadian Postal rates, as compared to the US, you might be better off buying new in the states.

Not really.  I priced out shipping the motor only to Alberta last year, and it was under $10.

Once you separate the motor from the bucket etc., it's not much bigger than three VHS tapes stacked together & weighs only slightly more.


sparkytoo--if I can figure out where it went, I may have a motor for you.  The nylon gear is FUBAR, but as far as I know it is otherwise ok.  If I can find it, it's yours for the cost of shipping.  I'll have a look this weekend and let you know...

Found it... photos attached.

Like I said earlier, other than the gear it is probably ok, although I have never actually tested it.  At minimum it appears to need the old chunked-up grease cleaned out and new grease applied.
