I'll be there... most likely in an inappropriate vehicle, but there just the same.

Parking--for April's GTG, I ended up using a garage about 3 blocks away.  Had trouble finding the right garage on the way out though... just ask Kevin.   Roll Eyes

The entrances, speed bumps, etc. at that garage seemed Fiero-friendly enough, and I didn't get any "bad feelings" about the area.  I think Brian managed to find an on-street spot more or less in view of Hooters.

"Now everybody remember where we parked" JTK  Azn
That was quite a walk but we found the garage.  Hopefully we willnot have the torrential downpour we had that night. Just a warning; I parked at the Rideau Center and paid $11.00 whereas Don only paid $5.50 so look for a city lot.
I don't know if I will be coming out as my inlaws are coming for the week so I will be looking for some good excuses to be out of the house.

I got there a little early and found a parking spot 80 meters from the front door. My question is - Who is bringing the FIERO flag for the table- ??

I'll make the stand tomorrow, or somethig.  Just need a flag.

Due to the complexity of the matter and our clumsiness, I have a suggestion.

We could take our shirts off and write "FIERO GUY" on our chest and belly in lipstick.  Kitten is exempt for modesty's sake (as is Dan), but she may provide the lipstick.

I can probably get "Ottawa Fiero Club, June Meeting. Fiero Enthusiasts welcome to stop and chat"  on mine.   Afro

If I do that, I'll just confuse people or get sent off to the loony bin.  I have a tatoo of Mustang's "running horse" emblem over my breastbone.  Smiley

It's at about 6 pm Saturday at the downtown Hooters.  There is a list of meetings, with maps, etc in the members section if you need it.

It's largely a meet and greet with lots of bull and a bit of food.  Nothing important, but you can bring up pretty much anything you are interested in.  We don't have a formal structure so there are no heavy duty meetings as such.  No fiero needed as some of us are still driving 'other' cars.

Always nice to meet new folks.  It easy to find the group of Fiero nuts.  If not we usually tell the staff if anyone is asking where we are.....

Just a warning for those who haven't already heard.

Rideau between Nicholas & Sussex:
  • westbound lanes are closed;
  • lane reductions are in effect on the eastbound side.
If you were thinking of getting in or out that way, think differently.  Smiley

...I'd rather not change the GTG location this time given how close to the wire we are, but if parking & traffic are going to continue to get on people's nerves, it may be in our best interests to say bye to Hooters.  Sure the scenery can be nice, but...   Undecided

Did you hear that!  The party is at Sandy's cottage?  Sweet, I'm in.

Not looking good for me making it as the person I was going to come up with has work related stuff to do. Dan
