looking for a seal

Yesterday as I was driving , I felt an extreme overheat from the rear window. After investigation I realized that there is this "rubber seal" that goes between the trunk and the heat shield that is missing. Any idea where I can find this or maybe if there is a good alternative ?

That seal also was to direct water away from the manifold when opening the decklid.

It was removed in a recall, but is often replaced for the above reason.  You can find a replacement maybe at the Fierostore or ebay or just make your own from rubber shaped with a cup like a snow shovel blade. ( oooooh snow...nice)  Oops, sorry, too hot for fat men here.

Tell me if I am right or wrong but the fierostore seem to have more parts from their catalogue rather than the on-line store.

I can't find this with the on-line store. But someone told me that their catalogue was very complete with lots of parts.

Despite the fact that I do not have that seal , do you think it's normal to get so much heat on my rear window ?

BTW thank you so much for the fender you provided me. I got my car fixed with this used one from you.

The car is designed with a 'quiet' airflow area behind the window so that engine heat can be drawn upward thru the engine grates, along with air which flows from under the car.  Mine gets fairly hot as well so it's likely normal.

Glad to hear you could use the fender.  What exactly are you missing from the front fascia support.   There are a few pieces in there and I'm not sure which you mean.

It's a thin metal sheet that is Under the front bumper. Whitout it , you see the front bumper is not as even. The part should look like a small rail that will staighten the lower part of the bumper.
