fuel milage on recent trip

If I can do over 30mpg , that is alot better than my 2004Dodge1500HEMI at <18mpg and if I pull my camper it goes down to 9mpg, but I still need the truck to pull)....

You calculate for me. Last trip to Peterborough gas for high test was 1.07 per litre, trip was 276km. I filled right up on the way out then filled back up on way back. Cost $17 for 18.2 litres of fuel. Dan

The route I take is side highways not on the 401 at any times, the average speed limit is 80km/h I average around 90km/h. I also go through a coulpe of small towns where the speed limit drops and the route has a lot of large hills.
I find my milage is better on less hilly straighter routes like the 401 as long as I stay under 120km/h.
Brian may have been exagerating some what but his point was that his 3800SC Fiero gets a lot better gas milage than his 2.8l 3.65 4 speed Fiero does.

I am serious when it come to CASH. BTW -  was on 401 to Kemptville doing some spirited driving with the 2.8 and I  could almost see the fuel guage drop 1/4 tank for a one way trip.

Cuban trip was good. Reasonably priced, lots to eat and drink and cheekas. Went fishing, local style, for some of the small fish. As usual I brought down 15 toothbrushes and half a dozen toothpaste for the local school. Brought back 4 bottles of rum but a lot more security at both airports than usual.  Had 3 good days of sun and one REALLY windy day. Rest was slightly to heavy overcast. Just caught the edge of the hurricane. Will have to go back soon, as Fidel is turning the single hotels into eye clinics for the Venesulans (surgery for oil) and consentrating the tourist in highdensity "tourist traps"
