Dan are you still looking for a chassis to dump an Ecotec in to?

We may have a lead on one, apparently somewhere just north of Kingston.  No idea of its condition at the moment, other than has the 2.8, is missing rims & a few rear body panels, and the current owner may have been on crack when selecting an asking price.   Grin

Let me know if you're interested and I'll get the contact info...

That would be appreciated Aaron then if its good I can go up and see about buying it and take a trailer along with me to get it. Basically I do not car what condition the body panels are in or the condition of the interior. What I need is some thing with little rust, I don't mind doing some metal repair as long as the framing is good. Thanks Dan

Thanks for the offer Aaron, unfortunately I got so busy in the garage over the weekend I didn't get a chance to call about the car. Will call tonight to find out more, then go see it. Kingston is only an hour away for me plus it gives me an excuse to visit the wreckers while I am at it. Plus it looks like one just for parts is going to be dropped of at my place tomorrow. Should be able to make one nice car for my daughter out of all of them. Her thinking she is funny has pointed out to me that it would be cheaper and easier to make her a 3800SC Fiero instead of an eco-tech one. Dan

She is funny!  It's one thing to be cheaper to build, it's something else to get herself into trouble or injured because she has too much power.

I remember being young enough to think I was almost invincible.

You do not have to be young to feel invincible, I still feel that way  some times when I get behind the wheel of my Fiero. Dan
