Looking over the radiator in your nice little Fiero. No leaks as of yet but not the healthiest looking one I have ever seen. Did you want me to try and find a better used one or did you want to buy your self a new one. Dan

Should I be putting a bigger one in with the larger engine?
A better used one would be good (unless the price difference between used and new is such that I should just go new).
Also..should I be considering transmission (& transmission oil) coolers?
Cheers, Derek

Waiting for Dan to post about the good part he found on the car. Ditto! Fortunately, it will be well on its way to being a great car, thanks to Dan. Cheers, Derek PS He did have nice things to say about the tires.

Definitely reccomend a tranny cooler and a good used rad usually goes for around $50, I know where a V6 is that was rear end damaged by fire will get the rad from it. Your two rear metal brake lines are now new due to the old ones breaking off while removing the old engine. Engine and tranny are now bolted to the cradle the struts are in place and the brakes back together. Entire set up is laying about 4 inches below its bolt points waiting for the cradle mount bushings. Once they arrive the car will be back on its wheels again. Dan

The used rad sounds good to me. How much for the tranny cooler? Cheers, Derek PS You did like the tires at least, right?

I forgot to mention that I suspect when I get the hinge plates welded to the frame something inside will undoubtedly catch fire.
You're just saying that to make me feel better about the dud I bought. Cheers, Derek

Gary is just way to much of an optomist to be a Fiero owner. Will get the rad and see if I can find a good tranny cooler while I am at it. Have to take the wife up to Kingston today to see a doctor so I will hit the wreckers there and a few on the way home. Then the real fun part begins running new larger tranny lines, always leave a little part of me behind in the way of skin off my knuckles when doing this part. Dan
