Did Joe say when and how he would be shipping the mount bushings as I find myself sitting here waiting for a delivery truck of some kind. Lots of work left but needing car on its own four wheels for a while to do it. Dan

$184? Damn. I was in Toronto a couple days ago too, I could've picked 'em up for ya. D'oh...
I'd just drive there for that cost. Hell, I picked up a set of lowering springs from Joe a couple years ago using public transit, now that's a lot of fun!

I think mine were $150 plus tax last year when I got them. Helped remove the bumb steering problems I had, definetely a lot better than the stock rubber ones. If you want to cancel the order I can solid mount the front and use the stock rears. Dan

Ok before I go ordering some parts I need comfirmation on the approval to purchase them. The muffler I suggest is a magnaflow with one 2.5" i/p and two 2.5" o/p's which sound nice and fit quite well they are around $180 cdn. The exhaust pipes run around $75 cdn for the whole system. The aif fliter I suggest is a K&N which is 3" dia and fits in the wheel well but costs around $70 cdn. I found a good rad and tranny cooler for $65. These are normal costs on a swap of this kind. I do not charge labour for installing but I do not cover the cost of the parts. If you like I can try and find a decent Camaro muffler for cheaper or use a cheaper air filer but do not reccomend that route. Please let me know Dan

Go for it. I was watching Overhaulin' last night and it was a Magnaflow that Foosse put on a tuned Civic. Will the rear bumper accommodate the dual exhaust? Will you have to cut the trunk out for the muffler? Cheers, Derek |

Yes the bottom part of the trunk has to go to run that muffler. This would be a good time to put a GT style rear bumper back on when I put it all back together. It won't be blue but it will allow for proper running of dual exhaust. If not I can just run the tail pipes a little lower and point them down to help keep the heat off of the bumper.
This is going to be one nice safe Fiero when its done, I am welding new metal over all the holes I found in the trunk and wheel wells as well as replacing badly rusted brake lines and front flex lines as one of the flex lines cracked open when I took the caliper off to remove the cradle. Good thing I have lots of Fieo parts laying around looking for some where to go. Dan
