LOL, I saw you signup Rusty McPail. Sometimes they're a little slow. You can read some sections without logging on but some you can't. BTW, I suggest wandering through www.paintscratch.com to pick your new colour. I guess with all the changes Yugo blue will be out of style.  WOOT! I own page 6.............  Isn't my blue the same as your's Gary? Is your Yugo blue?  I think I signed up MacJail?!?!?! Damn bandaged finger! Maybe I could get it painted like a Rust Check car to lool like rust. The cradle bushings finally arrived this afternoon so tomorrow I can put them in then get back to work on this little blue thing here. Did you get a muffler and air filter yet. Dan

The muffler should be here in a couple of days.
As for the filter...what a nightmare!
RF-1023. That's what I told them.
Do you think it was on the shelves? No.
Out back? No.
IN THE COMPUTER SYSTEM? No!
So they said "We'll order you this (Part 332046-0410123) and if that isn't it, we won't charge you the 20% restocking fee.
Frig. I'm going to print off the part from the K&N site and bring it in to show them what I want. The guy was extremely helpful (given the circumstances) but their computer didn't even give product descriptions to help him out?!
Augh!

The little experience above was at Canadian Tire.  I went back there with a print out of what I wanted and they didn't have a problem. Of course, it was an older gentleman - nothing against younger people in the workforce - who found it simply by punching in the numbers I gave the other folks last night. It is on its way. Still waiting to hear from CTC. If they are in tomorrow, I'll run them out to you myself (I'm off because I have an appointment to see a specialist about my finger in the morning and the dogs go to see the vet late in the afternoon...the drive would be nice and the dogs would enjoy it). Question: Not that I'll be racing or anything ( ) but will the speed limiter be disabled? Cheers, Derek |
