Can anyone tell me:

1 - The dept limitation for the 3 1/2 speakers installed in the seats.

2 - What is their impedence

3 - Are the seat cloth easy to tear when removed

Original speakers were 3.25" diameter and 1.5" deep (3.5" rounds work).

If you trim a bit more foam 4" fit as well. I have 4" Legacy speakers.

The seats are pretty tough (but a bit old).  If you take them apart and wash them, put some tape (I used iron on seam mender) on the back where the speaker holes are.  This will keep them from fraying and making holes.

I think Mr Mike's has a how to on cover removal on his site mrmikes.com

I have some in bits and pieces if you need any pictures.  I have hog rings and pliers as well.  If you take them apart just cut the old hog rings for easy removal and you can put new ones in.

Gary... yes, yes, yes... hog ring and pliers are welcomed... tried to find them at local CT and autoparts but no one has them  Afro

MacPhail... Went shopping today and 3 1/2 inch Rockford Fosgate it is.
