November 23, 8:00pm EST:

Ok, apparently some people of "RealFIeroTech" have found my business forum here:

http://www.pennock.nl/supportforums/index.php

and they have messed it up completely. Also, they apparently PM'd every single member on that forum with some story on how I'm a fraud and the software I'm selling is stolen or something to that effect.

You know, I don't really care that they hate me and PFF, but this is directly affecting my business and me, and the future of my child. In short, I am not amused at all by this and I will not simply laugh this one off.

It will take some time to clean this one up and it the meantime, I will need to close PFF so I have the time to do it.

And to the ones who are responsible for this: This no longer is a simple internet quarrel. You have decided to take it a step further. I will take every legal effort to make sure you pay for this.

This was up (well at 4:45 AM) this morning.  Given the date used, don't know if it's a hack job or an actual post by Cliff.

Other than having a lot of Fiero people in one spot, I 'd have to say that forum has become a shadow of it's former self.  I read some of the stuff but haven't been active for a while.

I really don't understand how people can get so involved in trivial things that they would stoop to such a low.  I guess it's a sign of the times, from politicos and business leaders down to the little people.  Sad indeed!   Angry

The date shown is current (Feb 8th) when I look at it from here.

I agree though... very sad.

Yep, it's been updated. I don't think that anything can be done to them though.  It would take a lot of cash to motivate some legal types.  This type of attack is probably pretty low on the legal system priority chart.   Shocked

I know of a Canadian based forum whose US based server was hacked and e-mails sent to its members.  The FBI was contacted and gave some warnings to the perpetrators I believe.

As for the costs involved...well...anybody can sue nowadays (why wait for the authorities to deal with it when you can get some financial compensation yourself?).

It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

Cheers, Derek
