I think they look much better from the rear.

You could clean that up a lot if you make the fiero logo larger and put Ottawa to the left and club to the right.  My $.02.

Aaron

.
Edit... on second thought just make the ottawa and club in smaller print left and right.  It should fit nicely.

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision.  But to have vision alone leaves the process idle.  Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.

Little different.  The Fiero in the logo is hard to match as the Ottawa and Club are such different lengths.

I see what you are saying but, now the writing has made the graphic even smaller.
I think the graphic should take up more room than the writing.

What font is that you are using?

I found a Fiero font a long time ago but I can't remember what it was called.

It's Hemihead 426, but it's only close.  pretty shitty looking IMHO.

No club at all.

How 'bout the Pegasus logo with "Ottawa Fiero Club" wrapped around the bottom of it (in a "U" shape)?

Getting there...  I like Aaron's and Gary's latest efforts.

Would have to see Derek's suggestion before I can comment on it though.  Smiley

Hmmm....maybe I'll try my hand at making it if Gary doesn't beat me to it.   Wink

Too late!  This actually looks better than the toon.  Size, elements are all scalable or removable or added.  Comments please. Bit o'this and that?

One thing to remember, if it's a shirt, 1 colour will be best.  For cards or online banners etc, it's easy to add the maple leaf or something in a second colour.

I must say that I like my idea...awesome job by the way, Gary!  Afro

Is there a Fiero-font that could be used?

As for the shape of the the text, can you make it follow the shield so that it is pointed at the bottom?  Maybe have "Ottawa" end at the bottom of the point and "Fiero Club" run up the right side from the point onwards?

Or maybe yet, take out all of the text and just have "Ottawa" at the top of the badge (with "Fiero" in the logo, it will be assumed that we're part of some geeky club).   Tongue

This is hemihead, the only 'Fiero" font I have ever seen used.  I personally would not put it on toilet paper  Undecided  even tho I think it looks like crap.

I can't, or don't know how, with the software I have.  I don't know if a point at the bottom would be okay or not.

We could use just the pegasus without the Fiero wording on top, or the one with OFC at the top.   Having just Ottawa at the top would be back to Ottawa Fiero and that would be a name change   Evil
