I'll let you guys decide and comment.  Personally, the gauge pod holds an XL coffee just fine.

I would look at something like that as an annoyance.  It makes a fairly big wall between the driver and the shifter.   Sad

well one I don't like it....

...from a usable standpoint it looks like it would work ok for an automatic, but for a manual I think it would get in the way

Ditto.  Though maybe there's a reason the photos show it with an automagic?  Undecided

Personally I've never found the lack of cup holders to be the "problem" which some people make it out to be.  Not to mention that ever since leather-izing the seats, I find that my interest in carrying spillables has diminished sharply.  Smiley

personally i went to crappy tire bought a random cup holder and double sided taped it to about the radio bezel.

worked great for me.
