Fired up The Blue Thingy this afternoon.  It did so nicely on the very first try, picking up where last season left off.

Also on a good note, the Blazer started up after not having been used since December.  Guess I'll see about getting it safetied and then sold in order to make some room in the driveway again.  Wink

Maybe it will have one last run in a crash-up derby.  Wink

Gary:  What can we do to help you get your car back together and on the road?

How 'bout the April GTG be held at your place?

Reminds me of the German guy in the 30's.  They had a pay now - get later plan for a Volkswagen (people's car).  He happened to work at the factory and stole a different part every night.  Finally, he had all the parts and put them together.  Turned out to be a Panzer tank.   Azn

How 'bout settling for whatever a bunch of guys and a gal drinking pop and beers can put together that actually runs?   Azn

After you get it road worthy, then look at turning it into a Ferrari.  Wink

Ok.  Maybe I won't do that to ya.  Wink  How 'bout we just let Dan and Gary have at it with an angle grinder instead?   Evil

Note to self:  Video tape the destruction of lerc's car and post it on YouTube.  Edit it so that it is done in super-slow motion to some painfully sappy music with close-ups of large chunks of the car falling to the ground and then tossed carelessly into a truck.   Evil

Better yet, burn a copy of it onto DVD and give as a Christmas present to lercs.   Afro

Hey Derek just slap that baby on a trailer and bring it here, I will show you how to fully strip and gut a Fiero. When finished you can take the spare parts you want home with you in boxes. Dan
