Well I finally have both of the Fiero's I was looking to get. I'll soon be able to start in on them as soon as I get some of the little jobs around the house done. Here's a couple of pictures

The notchie's great, but I don't like the wheels on the fastback.......

Ya, wheels would of made it a whole lot easier to load and unload.

So what is it u plan on doing with the two?

I'm planning on converting the notchie to the fastback body. Down the road I'd like to do a 3800 swap.

Get a couple of us over on a nice day and the body swap can be finished.  The door skins are the hardest part. (and that stupid roof)

When you drill out the rivets holding some of the panels, parts of the fenders and 1/4 panels mostly, just replace them with stainless bolts.  They don't show and are much easier to work with.

That's the fastback shell which Evasive had for sale a while back, isn't it?

Ya that's Evasive's shell. Nice guy! Too bad he had to part it all out, it sounds like it was a killer car. Thanks for the tips Buzz. I think that I'm going to swap the entire doors, since there is brand new glass in them. Not sure if I'm going to swap the roof or just have the other one painted, the roof on the shell has some chips around the sunroof so it probably would have to be repainted anyways.

Then don't play with the roof.  It would take half of the time required to swap bodies.  You could do that section black if you don't want to try to match that ....err colour.

You should be able to save almost all of the pushpin fasteners. Just use side cutters to gently pull the pin out a bit, then pry the fastener out with a screwdriver.

Ya the roof sounds like it is a big job. The colour shouldn't be hard to match, it's a stock GM colour,  Admiral Blue it came on the 1996 Corvette Grand Sport.
