Interesting...  was about to comment about silly ancient measuring systems vs. metric until I noticed from the listing that it is apparently switchable.   Cool

Darn tach reads too low though.  Wink   ...and what I'd give for a red-lit digi cluster.

not to be a bitch or anything but; I don’t know why people are so intent on switching their dashes, with something non-analog or red.  Analog gauges that are backlit red are the best.

Why?  Because analog is easier to read and red does not affect your night vision (like all other colours do, especialy green).

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision.  But to have vision alone leaves the process idle.  Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.

The "easier to read" argument of analog vs. digital is a subjective one.  Personally I prefer a numeric readout for speed & distance, with scaled displays for everything else.

No arguments on the red though...  I've always found that the higher the frequency of the light used, the harder it is on the eyes when viewed in dim lighting.

Every now and then I think about fitting one or more monochrome LCD dot matrix displays in to the instrument pod, backlighting them with red LEDs, and using microcontrollers to drive them.  It's not very high on the priority list however.  Smiley
