Okay, so it's been cold.  Nobody has any mods or stuff n the go or planned?  I don't see any posts.

Personally, I now have the spoiler delete and invisible hood and headlights mod.  Still the lack 'o paint option (anyone got a colour idea), because I change my mind every day.

I'm sure everyone saw the Firebird dash install on Pennock's. I toyed with this but have gone back to my original design idea. Besides, my dash still has those big holes in it.  Grin

I know some of you are up to something......Eric, Nick???

Dan's (fflyer) doing a 3800 and new GA dash I think, but he's far away in Peterborough.

Am I paranoid thinking that everybody is going to turn up with wild rides except me?

its ok gary...you are still beating mine..I got no cash to do anything.  My cousin has the fiero parts book, with all the modding stuff you can find.  He is going to switch his dash to something else, can't remeber what it is but it will look nice.  (But he is going to kit the car) BAH!

Yes I am pathetic I am going to hold off on the GA dash for now but I do have almost everything ready to go for the 3800SC just waiting for it to warm up a bit because the donor is frozen to the ground right now but should be able to get to her soon. In the mean time still searching wreckers. You just never know what you'll find. Last week I got a seat for the driver's side of my 3100 car once installed no more ripped seat. My priority right now is getting my 350SBC powered Astro van through emissions. Can,t wait till spring.

Gary, I have half a gallon of pink latex paint if you are interested;D. Chris liked the snakeskin.
I am repairing and replacing some items that have worn out over the past 17 years as well as putting a few new things on. Anyone know of a good price on dew wipes? I am replacing some interior parts, the headliner and shades are on the list, Tyler thought my seatcovers may look better stitched on so I shall do that. Additions include some precut tint off Ebay, power remote locks, will build boxes for my subs, and have added an STS led brake light to my spoiler.
All I need to finish is some free time and warmer temps as it is frosty in my garage.
Can't wait to see everyones handywork, Kevin

Hey guys!!! I'm still waiting for my highspeed! Tongue  so not here often. Smiley  Just waiting for my finances to recorver and I will resume the 3800sc. The engine is apperently readynow. Smiley must go pet it. Tongue

to keep myself busy, I ordered an 86gt plastic model car and I'm still looking for a model car in 1:25 that has a 3800sc to transplant into it. Smiley

then to paint it like the Drag-on. Wink

Cheers!

Hey Eric I was looking for a 1:25 3800sc for my model and couldn't find one anywhere, finally I put a 3.8 GTA engine in it.
Are you keeping the new engine as is or are you warming it up?
Can we see some pictures of the engine and the car?, haven't seen the new paint in daylight yet.

the engine is pretty "warmed up" Smiley
now to finish paying it off. Tongue

it has new forged pistons, rods, stanless valves, ported heads. Bored /honed cylinders, decked the block, used studs to fasten the heads instead of bolts. New injectors (GM), high flow oil pump (super duty?), new crank (billet?), new mains (abviously. Tongue ) new water pump, new roller timing chain.

compressinon has been upped a tad, boost is approx 12lbs now. (I'm very confident she can take it)

Depending on finances, I might get a wet jet by the summer. Smiley)  (and I don't mean a swiffa!)

Finances are still really tight for now.. so the project is on hold.. but I hope to get rolling on it again by febuary. Smiley

Cheers!

hi, Fierodough;
I would like to talk to you about your project; it is pretty similar to what I will be doing with mine; except I will be substituting a turbo for the super part...........
Might be easier off line; do you mind doing the email bit?
thanks
