I'm moving away this winter -- won't be back to enjoy summer Fiero weather next year.  So after three years of fun, it's time to sell up.

Very low mileage -- very, very low mileage -- 86 SE.  All black, all stock and original but for the regular maintenance (new struts all corners, new Falkens, etc.), and generally all works as it came from the factory.  PW, PDL, PM, sunroof, cruise, auto ... pretty much all the options but for subwoofers, I think.  Air installed but never functioning in my ownership.  Upgraded from stock 14" wheels to GT honeycomb 15" so I could buy 'stock' sized rubber -- nice Falkens, less than 5K on them.

110K total mileage.  Original paint but for replaced aero rockers & a replaced (but badly painted) rear spoiler.  Pop-ups work perfectly, sunroof doesn't leak.  Interior good but driver's seat developed a growing tear in the usual spot this year.  Front badge stolen again -- someone years ago glued a fantasy badge on the rear deck. 

Some minor issues to be dealt with, but nothing anyone reading this couldn't sort.

Price suggestions?  I'll repost in the sale forum once I've heard some thoughts ...

I don't know if you have a value in mind already Geoff, but I don't think I'd list it for more than $2,000 if it were me.

For one thing, you're facing end-of-season bargain hunters at this time of year.  From personal experience at the beginning of this season, the best offer we received for our 84, which was perhaps in marginally rougher shape than what you describe of yours, was $1,200.   Sad

Whatever you do, try to avoid mentioning that the car has to go before you move this winter in any advertisments.  It's a virtually guaranteed way to bring out the low-ballers.

When you set a price make sure you mention in your add that the price in not negotiable.  That way you get people calling that at least have the asking price to spend.  You'll get far fewer calls but they will all be serious ones.

Without looking at the car I'd say Don was in the right ball park.  You might consider getting it appraised. It won't cost you much and it will both give you a price and leave no room for anyone to argue the price after making the trip to see the car.
