in a 1985 gt where would the power trunk latch be? My door key snapped in the door lock and now i cant get into my trunk

If you have it, the button is on the right hand side of the instrument cluster, above the switch for the rear window defroster.

If you can get the lock cylinder out of one of the doors, a locksmith should be able to cut new keys for you to match it.

You could always goto the dealer with your vin and registration and see if they can make u a key.Assuming the locks are still original.  When my Saturn key stopped working i just went to the dealer to get a fresh cut key.

I did the same with my Fiero parts car. I went to Turpins, I think it cost me $40 to get both keys and the key code searched.

Thanx a bunch i think i will take a trip to the dealer but i would still need to get the snapped key out of the driver side door....sux it couldnt have been the passenger lol
