Avoid Union Auto Parts.
Arnprior Ottawa, Sonshine, Dave's and Valley Automotive in Pembroke all have decent reps. car-part.com may help locate an engine. Then call and see about getting all the bits.

I have been planning for a few years now to do an eco-tech swap even figured out all the hard parts but just have not been able to find the time with all the 3800SC swaps I am doing.
The eco-tech is a good little engine and has decent power when used with its manual tranny but sucks when connected up to an auto tranny. Dan

No you will not need to use the stock Fiero computer but one of the problems with the eco-tech computer is that it needs to be connected to the stock gauges it came with. Dan

ok so i will need trans, ecm, motor, wiring, and gauges. If i get the manual f23 trans with the 2.2 motor fiero axles should fit. is there anything else off a donor car I would need. what about the ignition?

If the car has a nice radio grab it too as the computer is also looking for it, there is components you can buy from stereo shops to solve the radio problem but if it is a good one why not use it as well.
Also a good solution for the gauges is to put in a Nissan 240SX dash as the Sunfire Guage pod fits in it very nicely and you get rid of the out dated Fiero dash while you are at it. Dan
