I still have not put them on, i'm waiting to do the brake upgrade then will try the lowering ball joints.

Do you think big brakes and lowering ball joints can interfere?

Dude:  With 18" rims those things won't even be in the same time zone.

With 17" rims will they stay in the same province ?  Wink

Should be lots of room.

Cheers,

I have the final answer.

On an 88, the lowering ball joints DO interfere with Big Brakes.

The added 7/8 on an inche is just enough to have the bottom control arm hit the back of the 12 inches disk when the suspension is under charge.

I tried to correct the problem with a hammer but that is not enough, the problem also appears in curves, so the bottom control arm needs to be modified a little bit.
