Winter is at our door, mostly.  Sad

Taken today:

So I am making sure all my parts are in for winter projects, projects other than the V8 of course.  Cool

the list:

- Have the bumpers repainted (under warranty)
- Replace H4 flasher bulbs with orange LEDs
- Rebuild front "airbox" under the fascia ("tar paper" deflectors and air-dam)
- Rebuild hood front hinges
- install schroud equiped radiator fan
- Install front Corvette brake kit
- Change driver side power door lock switch
- Install door pillar valve under the head lights
- Change Gauges in center console
- Install  "twitters" speakers
- Réinstall  driver side seat cover
- Install rear deck lid strut kit
- Re tap driver side deck lid nuts

Many things done since the last update.

Front:
- Installed front air-dam parts
- brand new OEM deflector
- I rebuilt front hood hinges with Rodney's kit.
- I installed a A/C style cooling fan.
- Slightly modified lower A-Arm for big brake kit

Rear
- Installed "Rear Decklid Strut Kit ". I had to re-tap nuts and changed bolts size
- Installed new rear caliper e-brake springs.
- I also inverse the coil-over threaded sleeves to have thread down to the bottom.

Spring update.

I did not update this work log for a while.

Since last update I upgraded the radio bezel to an Aluminum plate similar to the gaude pod. But to keep the look, I bought one with three holes for the vents instead of 2 rectangulars. I modified and glued 3 Mazda Miata vents to fill the holes. Had to bruched the aluminum myself to make it match the rest of the dash plates.

Of course, the Sombral rolled outside at the beginning of April

Welcome to this forum dimeadozen.

I try to plan my  work a way to be able to roll from may to october.

I usually buy parts all summer long, and I do the modifications during the long nothern Quebec winter.

So, yes  I am driving it this summer, the V8 still on the stand nearly ready. I rebuilt the V6 in 07-08 so it is in very good shape and make the car fun to drive. The all around poly and rear adjustable struts make it a little bit stiff but it drives like a go-kart. I like it  Smiley

I am now shopping around to find a shop to rebuild the original MG2. I want to put it back in the Sombral with the V8.

I will probably order the lambo hinges sometime this summer and I am still buying few things for the V8 such as chrome wire looms or chrome flex radiator hose. It gona be good looking

I bought 2 door glass, brand new in their GM box. Smiley

That will be nice once they will be installed on doors with Lambo hinges.
