Wrapped in Horsepower, Driving into Fury......

« on: February 15, 2003, 02:55:20 am »

I'm starting to get a little freaked. I started this whole thing thinking a couple guys with maybe a few 2.5 and 2.8's. Little did I realize your all crazy Wink  I look at the possible crew we could be sending down to MI and we'll have 3.4, 3.8's, whatever Nick has cooked up in his Garage and a 3.1( I might have caught it, I'm been staring at the eng comp on FieroFlyers pics)  what a spectrum of swaps in a single club.

Just because I've got the motor (well I don't have it yet) doesn't mean I'll actually figure out how it goes in.

Starting to get a little overwhelmed on info. I can see getting it mounted but never running.  Roll Eyes

Dan's car looks very nice.  I you don't get the wheels you can always buy my AR 16" ones.

Don't worry Gary one way or another it will work. Get the engine and the harnesses for both and send the harnesses to me. I should be doing my harness sometime late next month and can do them both at the same time. Let me know the year and what tranny you are going to use so I can gather the diagrams. I don't know what is so hard about wiring these toys its not like I'm wiring a C-130 Herculees or an F-18, but then again that is what I learned on.
I'm not the fastest because I like doing things right the first time.
Either way you will also be driving a 3800SC rocket this summer.

Hummm... maybe we can get together and do them at the same time. Mine is a 3800sc 1, 5spd isuzu, so need to "fool" the pcm to be in nutral.

Eric, I'll be running my 4 speed, so will be in the same boat.

If you find a place to do a flywheel let me know and I will do the same.

g'day sir! My flywheel is done, Ottawa clutch did it for $80 You just need a 96 Camaro 3800 flywheel, then take it to Ottawa clutch, I can give you the dimentions if you like and or my flywheel as a reference. Smiley  Now to start sampling some sweet clutches. Smiley
