Got vacuum. Want boost.

« on: February 21, 2003, 10:55:08 am »

Hi...

I'm installing the factory sub system in an '85, and the only piece which I'm missing is the heater core cover.

The one which is in the car now, mounts the "convenience center" at right angles to the core cover, putting the blue chime box in the way of the sub enclosure.

The cover I'm looking for, mounts the convenience center at about 45°, with the components facing down and toward the rear of the car.  The tab on the sub enclosure mounts to the back of the convenience center I believe.

Anyone have one of these kicking around that you care to part with?  I'd like to get the interior of the car back together some time before spring...  :-)

Nevermind...  with some careful bending & cutting of sheet metal, I was able to form a homemade bracket which does the job quite nicely.  Cool
