If you are lucky you might be able to just drop the rear of the craddle and tilt her down but thats a long piece of metal you have to pull out. Would reccomend dropping complete craddle for space to do a good job. Besides valve covers and intake have to come off as well don't they.

See what I was thinking was port and polish ther heads, intake and ,pleum Rebuild the heads some roller rockers, roller lifters, and a roller cam. new manifolds with a flow free exhaut and cat and. maybe a cold air intake. and I want to redo the clutch so if I can do the cam and the clutch with out engine removal it will save me a bit off money so I was not sure if this could be done they should be able to do the top no problem once the deck lid is off but that is what I will need to kow if this can be done I will call a couple off machine shops tomorrow and see what they can do.

If you have the space or a warm garage it isn't that hard and many places rent engine pullers fairly cheap. Just drop the rear craddle and remove from under car that way everything is right there. Really isn't that hard and you will save a lot of money.

Unfortunately I live too far away or I would give you a hand, that way you would learn. Most car work isn't that bad if you pay attention and take your time. I consider any tool purchases as an investment, you will always have them.
