Depends what you are looking for.
It does make a difference with the factory radio. It slightly adds some lower mids, makes the sound a little fuller.
It will not add booommmm. The factory amp that is coupled with the factory sub is 20 or 25 Watts. Nothing to write home about.
If you are looking for a factory placement enclosure that can handdle an 8" sub, there will be something availlable shortly. This enclosure was originally designed for a shallow Pioneer 8" speaker or a JL Audio 8" speaker. You can coupple aftermarket subs with amps that are a lot more powerfull than the OEM setup (and sound a lot better).
There is also the enclosure style that you had in your last Fiero.... I will probably be pulling it out of my Fiero as I feel too crowded at the soulders.
If you want to hear the 8" setup, we have a few of our Fieros outfitted with differrent variations of power and sub manufacturers.
I have a OEM setup boxed in my spare parts bin and I am not sure that I will ever install it in any of my Fieros.

Thanks.
Been checking over the 88 Formula I picked up and she is in really good shape and should be a very nice car when I am finished.
did junior ever finish off the hood vents in that old car of mine as I am thinking of doing the same with this one but would like to see how they looked after some one with body work skills was at it. Dan

No, nothing was done with the car. I plan on fixing that along with the body kit we put on Fred's car.
Unfortunatly, it's not for this year, priority goes on the Indy rebuild.
