Hey guys!
Well having a beer to celebrate. I friend of mine said I can use his shop to do my engine swap. Hoists, engine hoists, tranny hoists (love all the hoists) and all the tools I can dream of!

This guy is A1! I hope I can make it up to him some day. Smiley

Now to pay off the last bit of my engine and tackle the wiring. Smiley  Shematic reading time! AGAIN.. Sigh...

I'm getting excited! Tongue

I want to videotape everything. Smiley  Anyone have a video cam? or want to be the camera man / narrator? I will make a FREE mpeg or avi on the net for the next person. Smiley

Hahaha!  I just imagined downloading that video. 600 megs would only take............10 years.  Better a VHS tape.

I want to talk to you, Eric.

Did you get mounts?  Do the fuel pump? And how did you account for the extra coolant hose?

nah not that long gary...only 5hours/100mb so 30 hours.   Tongue   I can burn you a copy once it is done...Don't worry.  Speaking of things Falling into place.  I got the great news YESTERDAY!!!!   I have been Conditionaly ACCEPTED TOO ALLLLLLL MY COLLEGES!! YIPPY!! (CAn you guess what I picked.)  Algonquin being the one I am going to Smiley  See you all on Saterday.

My ears are on Gary! Smiley

"Dino" the guy who is letting me use his shop, slaped an LT1 into a Jeep. Smiley  So he recomended a few things for me.

Coolant hoses: He recomends the REAL braided lines. Teh can pass near the tight exaust and not melt. They also screw on to fittings so no leaks and they do not colapse.

Fuel pump: Just goint to get an early model buick or boneville fuel pump. only about $80.00

Still looking for a good place to get the mounts.. and I want the solid cradle mounts..

Still working on the Mem-cal programmer. Trying to find on in my budget. Tongue

almost forgot!
I will also have VHS tapes of the install. Tongue  the MPEG is only for the folks in the states ect. As I don't want to make any money off of it. I feel the 3800sc kits and videos are a rip-off and I want it to be freeware. Smiley

hi Eric;
I understand the Corvette fuel pump is "form and fit identical" to the fieros; it drops right in and bolts right up; I will see if I can find the exact year that was referred to.  If it will feed a corvette I am sure it will keep the 3800 happy.  Don't know if you might need an adjustable fuel regulator tho......
Never hurts, probably would help but they are a bit pricey.

A webpage that details a turbo 3.4 swap says the 92 to 97 Vette fuel pump is a direct bolt in.   The other details seem to be pretty good so my gut feel is that he isn't guessing.
I don't know if you will need to think about a fuel pressure reg or not.  That wasn't mentioned (I don't think?) but will check about it.  If you 'overpower' your injectors, of course they will squirt more fuel in the same opening duration.

I might be assuming here, but the pressure regulator that came with the engine would regulate the fuel to the proper stock pressure no matter what the pump pressure is. (unless it's too low) and return the excess fuel back to the tank?

I may be wrong. Sad

I forgot.  You already have a system designed for forced induction meaning variable fuel req'ts.  I would think, yes, you are already well-set for fuel management and shouldn't have to worry about that.
