Well, maybe now I can order those poly suspension bushings and the stainless brake lines - oops!  are they illegal under the proposed new bill?
Better wait; but then I won't be able to drive my car at all...........

small world from an information point of view, I guess....... ironically, I was reading this stuff at 6:30 this AM (oh well) and it was quite interesting.
It isn't extremely surprising to me - the poly is more plastic than elastic so it will not 'rebound' to its original form after a number of severe loadings (like rubber would) .... And likely anyone who puts in poly is going to LOAD it, I am guessing..........  Herb Adams had his own recommendations that I will have to dig up again; I sort of figure he is a smart guy on this topic.  He promoted nylon if I remember right.  And zerk fittings.  Nice little detail.

But this legislation thing really is troubling. I finally am able to start on my dream project and some #$@#%#$^ politicians (imagine something lower than low in my esteem charts....) are going to make life difficult for me.

I think the reality of it actually going through are slim and most likely would go after Nitrous Oxide, LED's ,  let's just hope
