I am wondering what type of material to use on the interior for the head liner and the stuff behind the seats.  Just curious on what you used.

Someone listed this on PFF. Apparently you can get the correct fabric for the headliner, seats or whatever. I haven't tried them yet, but that is on the list this for winter. http://store.yahoo.com/yourautotrim-store/

you mean the padding layer right? go to fabrickland, look for a terri cloth type fabric, glue that on with spray adheisive on the "roof" then when dry, use spray adheisive to glue on some vinyl. some nice stuff at fabrick land.

Went to Mississippi Auto Glass, got some material from there with the foam liner.  So now I just have to glue it on!

I had forgot that they do upholstery work in addition to glass repairs.  D'Oh! Shocked

Did they have the stuff on hand, or did you have to order it ahead of time?  How's their color selection?

They had some "scraps" on hand for the headliner, and it only cost $10 for 55" x 22" that I needed (But there was more)  As for the material for behind the seats I got from them a carpetting type of material.  But it was $24 a meter.  For that I needed 45" x 34".

Total cost was around $45.

As for the colour selections they had it was all in brown cardboard wrap so I couldn't see what they had, but they could most likely get a lot of different colours.  I just wanted a black so they had what I wanted.  Once I get it in, hopefully tonight....I will take pictures and post them

Not bad!  I've been meaning to go there for a while now to see if they'd be interested in sewing the yoke on my saddlebags together; this just gives me more incentive. Wink

Methinks I'll take the car or just the headliner with me when I go--I don't trust my eyes to find the right color without having the original beside me.
