Has anyone installed AC into a Fiero that does not have AC? Is it just a matter of getting the part (Compressor, condenser, evaporator, lines, AC dash plate, relay ...)? Is there any other gotcha? Special bracket?

Don't forget on non a/c cars cables are used for control and on a/c car vacumn lines and actuator pods are used to control system. Also in case of 84's the ducting and extra vent control cables on non a/c cars. Dan

A more self-contained aftermarket unit would be easier to install as pretty much the whole heating/cooling system would need to be revamped or swapped out to keep it stock.

haha yea thats the solution for now! Grin
but I am looking for an 88 gt (for spring '04) and wanna complete the car while it is in pieces <----- know what I mean??

For the price of a nice 88GT you can have a 3800s/c older car.
