No sprak? there is the prob.  Wink  now.. Is your engine DIS or do you have a dtributor? ig it's DIS, pribably the crank sensor. if it's a distributor, the coild is not pumping any juice. Check all connections at the coil. Check coild fudible links. the coild also gets a reference from the Heli in the distributor as to when to "fire". so there shuld be a connection from the coil to the distributor. (not ust the spark wire,  Wink  )

check for voltage at the coil with a volt meter .

Question to the other guys, other than a fusible link, any other fuses for the coil??

Good luck!

Distrubuter, I need to start going down the line to check for juice and find out where it stops flowing, just need to find the time.

THAT'S IT, little piss arse car is going to the mechanic before I drive an iron through it, replaced the pickup coil, tested ing coil, can't find anyone to test the ign module,Dave suggested playing with my dist timing, so maybe that'll fly otherwise off it goes to the mechanic,

incidentally there is an 88GT for sale here in Ottawa for $6300, 1 owner 138K nice looking

you may only have carboned crudded rings. Get some heavy dutu carbon cleaner. Fill up each cyl with it (pluggs out). Let it sit for a day, then manualy rotate the engine 180. Then do it again for another day. then drain oil, cross fingers. Smiley

carbon deposits can cause the rings to stick and not expand properly to countour the cyl walls.

Either way.. you engine should start. This issue is no related to your no-start.

Good luck! call me any time you need help!
